THE DETAILS
Privacy.
A simple website, with clear boundaries.
The Everyday Edit offers an optional newsletter signup and a feedback email option. It has no customer account, checkout or advertising pixel. Optional Google Analytics measurement loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Search and category filters work in your browser. We do not use this site to collect payment details or store your product searches.
Hosting
The hosting service may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs to deliver and protect the site. This website is publicly accessible.
Newsletter subscriptions
When you submit the newsletter form, your email address is sent to Brevo to manage your subscription. You must confirm through the email sent to you before joining the newsletter list. The form uses a hidden anti-spam field. We use the list for new edits, shopping notes and occasional affiliate recommendations. You can unsubscribe through the link in our emails or contact us to request removal.
Suggestions and contact
When you click Send suggestion, your message and optional reply email are sent to Web3Forms, which processes the submission and forwards it to Charlotte’s Gmail inbox. Web3Forms processes technical details such as IP addresses and referring websites for delivery and spam protection. Its service providers may process submission data internationally, and Web3Forms may retain a submission archive for up to three years unless a shorter period is configured or the data is deleted earlier. We use your message and any supplied email address to handle your suggestion or reply. We do not store your message on this website. See Web3Forms’ privacy information. Sending feedback does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Contact theeverydayeditbycharlotte@gmail.com with questions about your information.
External websites
When you follow an Amazon, Benable or Pinterest link, that service’s privacy and cookie policies apply. Affiliate links contain a tracking identifier that allows the retailer or affiliate programme to attribute qualifying referrals. The Everyday Edit does not receive your payment information or the contents of your retailer account.
Optional website analytics
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives technical and usage information such as page views, approximate location, device and browser details, referral sources, engagement and outbound shopping clicks. Analytics may use cookies to recognise visits. We measure referrals to products, not completed Amazon purchases or your Amazon account. We do not send newsletter email addresses, feedback messages or local search terms to Analytics. Google advertising personalisation is disabled.
Analytics is blocked until you allow it. Rejecting analytics does not affect browsing or shopping links. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time. Your choice is stored in your browser for up to six months. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and removes accessible first-party Analytics cookies on this site; it does not erase data already processed by Google. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Contact Charlotte with questions or requests about your information.
